Kure Beach

Near the southeast corner of North Carolina, Kure Beach (pronounced CURE-ee) can be found between the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River. The incorporated boundaries of the Town start on the south side of Alabama Avenue and extend all the way down to the gate to the Fort Fisher State Historic Site (the north side of same street is in Carolina Beach). A combination of young families and pensioners make up our population. Many of our inhabitants have resided at Kure Beach for many generations, and we are represented by property owners from 32 different states.
